Canine Companion

Recent Studies and research have shown that dogs offer social support, are able to reduce stress, increase cognitive abilities and social interaction, while counter-acting depression and anxiety in humans.  At Columbia Falls Estate Planning- we agree!

Along with our human staff, our office is frequently assisted by a calming canine companion*.  Amelia comes to us from Tulsa Animal Welfare in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  She is a Malamute/ Shepherd mix and is approximately five years young. Amelia and her human, Attorney Denise Romer, are proud to announce they completed their training and exams as an ITA "Therapy Team", and will be visiting local hospice and assisted living patients to provide comfort and companionship!

Depending on the day, Amelia can be found greeting clients or working behind the scenes to secure treats from delivery trucks and vendors.  While out-of-office, her favorite local spots include Hugh Rogers Wag Park, Dee-O-Gee in Kalispell and just about anywhere she is allowed to mingle with humans. 

Amelia is a wonderful and loving reminder that Columbia Falls Estate Planning can prepare a Pet Directive as part of a complete Estate Plan so that all pets can be cared for in the manner their humans desire and the pets deserve, while providing pertinent medical and background information.

Amelia’s motto is that we should greet each day, task and person with joy and excitement!
