Denise Romer, Esq., is a distinguished attorney whose legal career has been a commitment to excellence, advocacy, and community service. With over 25 years of experience, she has earned a reputation as a trusted advisor in estate planning, probate, and family law. Denise’s expertise is complemented by her dedication to the wellbeing of her clients and community.
After obtaining her undergraduate degree in Oklahoma, Denise pursued her legal education at Pepperdine University School of Law, where she not only earned her Juris Doctorate but also a concurrent Master’s Degree in Alternative Dispute Resolution from the Straus Institute. This specialized training in arbitration, mediation, and negotiation has equipped her with unique skills that she utilizes to help her clients navigate complex legal and familial situations with tact and empathy.
Having been licensed to practice in Oklahoma, California, and Montana, Denise has a broad perspective on legal issues that affect her clients. Her approach to law is proactive and client-centered, focusing on providing personalized legal solutions that address the specific needs and circumstances of each client.
Denise’s commitment to social justice and community welfare is evident in her volunteer work with Pepperdine’s Center for Community Development and Service, where she mentored inner-city children and lectured on domestic violence. Her dedication to creating a more just society has earned her a place on the Southern Poverty Law Center’s “Wall of Tolerance.”
Outside of her practice she serves as an assistant coach at Glacier Gymnastics and holds positions on the boards of several nonprofits, including the Boys and Girls Club of Glacier Country and the Hugh Rogers Wag Park in Whitefish. She is also the President of the Blades Athletic Scholarship Foundation and a passionate member of the Northwest Montana Estate Planning Council.
An avid outdoorswoman, Denise enjoys cross-country skiing with her dog Amelia, motorcycling, and weight-lifting. Her life outside the courtroom is filled with activities that reflect her spirited and adventurous personality. Whether she’s participating in a SPARTAN race or writing southern and paranormal fiction, Denise brings the same level of energy and dedication that she applies to her professional work.
